Requirements
- 18 or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a background check through a consumer reporting agency (with your written consent)
- Carry your own general liability insurance and provide a certificate of insurance
- Provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and sign our independent contractor agreement
- Reliable transportation and your own cleaning supplies and equipment
- Residential cleaning experience (professional or substantial personal experience)
How it works
- Apply online. Tell us about your experience and the areas you'd like to work.
- Interview and trial clean. A short video call and a paid trial clean.
- Background check and paperwork. Background check, proof of insurance, W-9, and contractor agreement.
- Start accepting jobs. Choose the bookings that fit your schedule. Payouts are made per job.
Independent contractor status. Cleaners on Sonoran Gleam are independent contractors, not employees. You control your own schedule and methods, may decline any job, may work for others, and are responsible for your own taxes, supplies, and insurance. We set outcome standards (like a cleaning checklist and client ratings), not how you do the work.
